What is expansive mortar and its application?

Expansive mortar is also called expansive cracking agent or expansion crushing agent. Its main uses include rock cutting and crushing, and reinforced concrete building demolition and crushing.

Expansive mortar is a gray powdery material with high expansion performance made of various inorganic substances. Its working principle is to mix the mortar with an appropriate amount of water to form a flowing slurry, and directly inject it into the borehole. After the hydration reaction, the crystal is deformed, and huge expansion pressure (radial compressive stress and circumferential tensile stress) is generated over time and applied to the hole wall. The expansion pressure is proportional to the reaction time, that is, the longer the time, the greater the expansion pressure; the time required for the object to crack is inversely proportional to the ambient temperature, that is, the higher the temperature, the shorter the cracking time.

Expansive mortar  application?
Expansive mortar's main uses include rock cutting and crushing, and demolition and crushing of reinforced concrete buildings. Specific application scenarios are as follows:
‌Rock cutting and crushing: crushers can be used for rock crushing in mining, tunnel and channel excavation, subways and other underground construction, etc. ‌
Reinforced concrete building demolition and crushing: suitable for the demolition of columns, beams, walls, bridge piers, dams, and foundations of large equipment, etc.
